nothing bad to say about this place, it was cheep and staff really friendly. unfortunately what let it down was it was clearly well used in the rooms. the decor had not been changed in a long time and the room while functional was basic. the mattress was extremely soft and as I enjoy a firm if almost widen mattress, again personal preference but the bed was uncomfortable. the amenities I know can be subjective as to what to expect, but plastic disposable cups with the kettle? that's cheeping out and not in a very eco way. there are other areas you can save the environment and your budget. something tells me that if the owner of the hotel was to stay the night he wouldn't be offered the same cups. this must all be noted alongside the fact that it was clear everyone that worked there did their job professionally and with a smile. but it could not take away from where the business decisions had let the team and the hotel down. all in all a good place to stay if you need a warm dry place to stay over for the night, but not somewhere I would stay for a long weekend.

Great Value room only.... Breakfast was Well worth the extra.

A reasonable - if dated - economy hotel but we felt let down. Only after we had arrived, swiftly moved to the restaurant and spent the price of the room again on dinner, did we discover a 20% off meals voucher in the room.Difficult to understand why we were not asked when paying for the meal whether we had the voucher. Even more difficult to understand when we mentioned it on checking out the only response from the receptionist was a smile and the words: "We are here to make money, after all.."Not what I call good hospitality, good customer relations or even good manners.Very disappointed in Campanile.

The hotel is in a quiet area, the rooms are very clean and have all the amenities one might need. The prices are affordable and, if one chooses to include breakfast in the price, there is a large variety of food to choose from. Would definitely stay at this hotel again.

Found the hotel on booking. Com by chance and excellent experience all round.Check in was so good.. Didn't get his name but so friendly... Just as at breakfast in the morning.Quiet comfy room... Yes its basic but a great shower, very clean and warm. My two dogs allowed in and slept on the floor but had a wee area of grass right outside the room... Breakfast was excellent well presented and hot and cold in all the right areas.... Fresh and well cooked... All for 46.. For two of us!Well done
