Really nice people
Bought notepad for daughter thats 9 for christmas and the keyboard stopped working was told no warranty as its wear and tear! so basically told we have been sold a faulty item as she has not used it enough to wear it down. Shocking sales and customer service wanted 40 quid to repair it
DO NOT USE, TOTAL CON ARTIST! SELLS FAULTY ITEMS THEN REFUSES TO REFUND!!I went in to look at purchasing a Laptop as the one I had was old and had seen better days,The owner chose what in his words was a really good one (i'm no expert) which i paid 75 for. I got it home however to discover numerous faults with it such as the arrow keys to be faulty, not working and sticking when pressed; Despite the new charger the Laptop would not hold charge (although being specifically informed it had good battery retention), the mouse pad worked on and off and at one point I had to switch the computer off completely and reboot it to get it working again and then to be informed by a family member who does know alot about computers that the program on it (Windows Vista) is an incredibly old one and programs may struggle to work properly or run slowly and that I've been ripped off (even without all the other issues).I took the laptop back to the shop a few days later when I got chance as i'd been away and explained to the man that owns the shop the problems I had with it, he happened to have a customer in at the time, therefore was very polite and with a confused look stated ok no problem, and once the other customer had left began inspecting the laptop in what I thought was an attempt to bodge it and send me on my way. I explained to him that I would rather have a refund as I felt that I could purchase a laptop of a much better quality elsewhere and produced my receipt. His demeanor immediately changed once I had requested a refund and again asked me what the issues were, I explained again and he began to press the arrow keys (which of course made them stick) and he began accusing me of breaking the keys myself as they were not stuck in that position when he sold it to me! (I politely explained to him that he did not test each and every key in my presence when he sold it to me, he just showed it working (plugged in to the mains) and connected to the internet) and that this is one of the issues I found on getting it home, to which was one of the minor ones as the keys popped back up again if pressed but the buttons didn't function at all! Initially he completely refused to give me a refund stating that I had caused the keys to be this way therefore he could no longer sell it on to which I stated was not the case at all and I had only used it for ten minutes to which my partner began to confirm until being told not to speak by the shop owner as the laptop was not purchased by her (Again I politely informed him that we have a joint bank account so technically that's not necessarily the truth, and that he was being very rude and disrespectful which was not appreciated.)The owner continued to deny me a refund against my consumer rights and after stating that it would be his word against mine and that he'd heard the same story a million times before (To which I felt it necessary to comment my lack of surprise a million people have needed to return a faulty item to his shop!) I was refunded some of my money after a lengthy stand off, however I was charged 20 to replace the faulty arrow keys (as according to him it would require a brand new keyboard as allegedly the keys can not be replaced separately, Which is another lie as I have seen them for 3 each for that model so again he has ripped me off!) I finally got 55 back but will make it my mission to let everyone on every social media website know about him so not to fall into the same trap. (And hopefully cost him as much business as possible!)
I have used this company for over 10 years now, they have built me several computers to my own specs over the years,I have always found them to be efficient and friendly, their back up support is next to none and you are traeted as a person and not a wallet! They will always get my business and I am not related to any of the staff-just aperson who likes the personal touch and is appreciated as a customer.
they have got so nice customer care and save for me a lot of money than Pcworld
