We put our 4 dogs in the oakwood kennels i thought they would of truly missed us but wasnt even bothered when we collected then .i am useing them again in may .they had exercise and all the care we give them .i would highly reccomend them .
We had been looking for a nice kennels for some time with no luck at all, our friends told us about Oakwood they have boarded their cats with them lots of times. We went along to see if we could have a look around, Lynn & Scott were really friendly & shown us their facilities, we were really impressed with how big & clean the kennels were, we booked our dogs in straight away, we walked out feeling a great weight had been lifted of our minds.We got regular updates with photos & videos and our dogs come back smelling gorgeous, in fact they tried to go back to the kennels with the lady that had brought them up to us . That told us how much of a good time they had had , we will definitely be coming back and we would give them more stars if we could . THANK YOU.xx

For the last 2 years under the new owners Scott& Lynn I have left my dogs Merlin & Molly ( both rescue dogs with issues) over a dozen times.They just love it here home from home.The staff are helpful & friendly nothing is too much trouble.I give OAKWOOD BOARDING KENNELS
What a awful place to leave your pets! Animals receive next to no attention or exercise, just a mere 5 minutes in an outside pen before they are returned to a box to spend over 24 hours every day. I was heart broken when I returned to collect my dog and witnessed the state that she was in! I left her with Oakwood with a promise she would be sufficiently cared for and that was simply not the case! Shortly after discussing my experience with these kennels with friends, my friend informed me that their dog Rambo had actually died in this kennel while they were on holiday! I was absolutely mortified! I will never trust these kennels ever again and I urge pet owners to do extensive research into any kennel prior to entrusting them with your beloved pets! This is far from a caring environment as they are incapable of treating their staff well let alone the animals! I was also shocked to see the pathetic size of half of their kennels in which multiple dogs have been stuffed into, barely enough room to lay comfortably and these poor dogs have to spend over 24 hours a day in this space! Absolutely Disgusting! Please do your research!- replying to owner comment:Before you call me a liar, explain why poor Rambo died in your care! And I have never been a customer? Evidently you arent even capable of taking care of customer records never mind animals! No animal should be left in your care, my experience was absolutely disgusting and I feel sorry for any dog or cat that is left with you for any period of time, sheer neglect!And I have also discovered that you employ underage people illegally paying them below minimum wages and under the counter to evade taxes, and then mistreat employees and dismiss them unfairly. You should be ashamed of yourselves! I will be taking this to the police as no business should be able to function in this manner! And no person of such disgrace should be entrusting with the care of a beloved animal!I URGE PEOPLE NOT TO LEAVE THEIR DOGS WITH OAKWOOD THEY ARE ABSOLUTELY VILE!
