Top quality local museum. My only criticism would be the ludicrous manikins of stone age people, but even these are worth seeing on the "so bad it's good" principle.
My 2 year old granddaughter found this museum very interesting.
A brilliant place to visit with the family at least once. Highly recommend visiting. Free parking too.
I love this museum. My kids love the natural history section and the tunnels showing animals under ground. I took my parents this week to see the KOYLI (Kings Own Yorkshire Light Infantry) museum which they enjoyed. I have taken the kids to the activities they sometimes have on in the holidays. And it's free! Helpful staff too.
A wonderful museum, plenty to see with some hands on things for the kids. The staff here are the best and regularly have craft a event. Upstairs are the galleries with many interesting exhibits. Free too!
