Lovely museum. Visited the cafe also, which was small and cosy. Very busy that day, but lovely! Nice food. Excellent service. 5*

Lovely grounds to walk around with tarmac paths around the lakes. Lovely cafe with cobbled floor (former stables) House has the usual museum and this one has a good variety of items to view. You pay a small fee to park but house and grounds are free to enter. There's a classy pub next to the house .

Interesting place and history.Great day out or just a couple of hours. Take a picnic and enjoy the lawn with good views over Doncaster, walk around the gardens and lake. Take a guided tour of the house. Have a nice tea and cakes at the cafe.Free entry, donation for the tour and parking is pay and display I recall.

The property was absolutely beautiful. The actual staff were very, very impressive indeed and couldnt have done more to have made our visit special. I was very impressed with their welcome and an ad-hoc personal tour almost! They staff clearly love what they do in the upkeep of the house and was lovely to have unrestricted access. I would have loved access to the very top bedroom, but understand thats for special dates only.

Great museum only voluntary contributions to enter, really loved kitchen area lots to see and to be able to wander around such a big historical place is wonderful. It has a tea room on site and recently opened pub ( check opening times ). They have a large pond great for feeding duck in summer and the ground have great gardens. In winter they keep the museum lovely and warm.
