The experience we had with Malcolm C Foy was not worthy of the great amount of money it cost. Our solictor was impossible to get in touch with, on frequent occasions we asked what we could do to help speed the process along, only to be told on the day of signing that we needed to complete a form which delayed the process by 10 days. On the day of our completion the solicitor booked the day off without telling us and we couldnt get in touch with her assistant, this is just another example of their incompetence.I feel like the solicitors have too many cases to work on and therefore dont offer a good service.
Without going into detail it was a transfer of property which took longer than the actual purchase of the property in the first place! So if you want to pay a solicitor but mediate it yourself then choose this lot!
I have just used Malcolm C Foy to buy our new home and to sell our previous home a few months earlier. The customer service throughout has been excellent; I was kept up to date and they were able to work to our tight deadline. Vanessa was lovely and I would highly recommend her and the whole team.
