Grainger Appleyard were the acting solicitors for the buyer of my property (as deal which has subsequently fallen through). Throughout the process we were subject to numerous delay tactics by Grainger Appleyard, including an entire month when the updates we were being given were that they were waiting for land searches to be returned when it transpired they hadn't even requested them. Be wary if you are seeking a smooth transaction with the sale of your property and their name appears as the buyer's solicitors.
They did the conveyancing for my first house purchase.Top-quality service, communicative throughout and helped to work through any hiccups. They kept me well-informed and were patient with my ignorance of the process.The sellers solicitors caused a problem near the move-in date -- Grainger Appleyard called me and were in contact with the sellers' solicitors to resolve the issue.Worth the money compared to a cheaper bulk conveyancer.
Started off positive ,being told all the things we wanted to hear but then at the end no replies or returned calls, which is basic manners for a service that cost thousands. Not sure exactly what Jill Brookes did as it seemed to be her assistant Scarlett doing all the work. And a barrister that did not even see his client after sentencing is absolutely disgusting and unacceptable. No aftercare service whatsoever., maybe some refresher training on people skills required. Would not recommend.
