Lovely Landlady. Clean and welcoming space. Only downside is the limited choice of alcohol.
New cafe at the lodge has a lovely young franchisee, very friendly, took time out to come and tell us of his plans for the future, which we wish him well with. Taking things slowly and gradually building his business up, good on him! Wish him lots of luck!

A fine evening indeed. The staff here take great pleasure in making sure your experience is a spiffing one. While I sat down to indulge in the 3 courses, I can confidently say that the food is good and worth a revisit to try some of the other curries, my only criticism is the korma which I tasted, it lacked little flavour in my opinion. Taste buds had a good time though overall. The decor is decorous, it definitely helps create the warm and cosy atmosphere.So, my summary in 13 words or less: Great restaurant with great staff that know how to look after their guests.
Went to Indus tonight for the second time, with my lovely wife Nicola. Upon our arrival We were warmly greeted and offered a drink straight away. These are basic rituals of hospitality which often go by the wayside. The restaurant is tastefully decorated and very clean. You won't be disappointed. We both had a lovely meal and asked several times if everything was okay. Needless to say everything was great. This place has a warm friendly unpretentious atmosphere. Great staff who know how to make customers feel welcome. Will be back again hopefully with friends. Give Indus a go you'll not be disappointed. Martyn and Nicola Thomas
