I don't really know what to say that hasn't already been said by so many other people but anyway, here goes: Mum died late on a Saturday night and by Sunday afternoon we were sat with Neil arranging Mum's funeral. Deyes was the only place open on a Sunday and it was such a comfort to be able to start organising things without having to wait until the Monday. That is only the beginning of the story - Due to personal family circumstances Mum was buried 6 days after she passed away - this left only 5 days to arrange a funeral (2 weeks before Christmas) - Deyes went above and beyond to make this happen - nothing was too much trouble for them. I was amazed at how compassionate and thoughtful everyone was. They treated all of us, especially Mum as though we were their family - the care, the dignity, the feeling and thought that went into everything was beyond compare. The day of the funeral was incredible - Deyes turned a sad occasion into a celebration of life - the highly polished cars, the immaculate turnout of Neil and his staff, the incredible flowers, the ceremony with which Mum left her home for the final time, the thoughtful journey to the Church, the dignified arriving and leaving the service, to the very final journey to the grave - every tiny detail was perfect, just perfect. I know Mum will be looking down now with a cup of tea in her hand and a smile on her face saying 'thank you' and from us, the family, a heartfelt thank you, thank you so much for celebrating Mum's life in such a personal and caring way. It meant so much - thank you
Superb services from Deys. Dad, mum and the whole family have been treated with the greatest of respect. Very caring and compassionate and have been there whenever they were needed. Would certainly recommend.
At that moment in your life, when your family face the pain of saying goodbye to a loved one, Deys is there and wont let you down. Neil and his team are, Im sure, the best there is. The moment we spoke on the phone, I knew everything would be done with compassion and dignity. Face-to-face Neil is equally as genuine and caring. Neils wife created the floral tributes, which were beautiful and she too was a source of comfort to my mother. A huge thank you to all at Deys for making a difficult time a little easier.
Quite simply - don't go anywhere else. So much care and sensitivity from these people who made a difficult day totally heart-warming. Prices were more competitive than any we had seen and everything was just perfect. On the day they really look care of my daughter who was heavily pregnant and supported us throughout. Now we have been invited to a Christmas service for our loved ones - what a lovely touch - I wish there were more people like this in the world.
Recently lost my father and chose Dey's to look after the arrangements as they were a local company. After meeting Niel and team for an initial meeting I was confident they were a great choice. I would highly recommend not just for their professional service but also their care and compassion at a difficult time. They made everything so easy and it was clear their motivation was to treat me with care and respect and deliver exactly what I wanted, I felt valued and looked after at all times. They were on hand to answer questions and help me through the unknown, nothing was too much trouble. If I could give 10 out of 5, I would do. Highly recommend.
